The Richmond Joint Engineers’ Council is an all-volunteer coalition of engineering, scientific and technical societies in the Richmond / Petersburg Metropolitan Areas of Virginia. RJEC promotes Engineering Education, and provides a vehicle to disseminate knowledge and information relating the art and science of engineering to its member societies and the general public.

Nomination Guidelines

 

1. Eligibility: The awards are made to recognize an individual, business or organization that has made a significant contribution preferably related to or based upon application or support of engineering principles or the growth of technology to the well-being of the greater Richmond metropolitan area including surrounding counties.

 

2. Nomination: Nominations for the RJEC Community Service Award may be made by an individual; an engineering, professional or technical society; a business, or educational institution.  Completion of the nomination form and any attachments shall constitute the required documentation.

 

3. Submission:  of the nomination form

 and any attachments shall constitute the required documentation.  This documentation must be received by the RJEC by January 7, 2009
